Meet Your Photographer

Hi, I’m Caroline. A girl from Brazil who is practically a gringa at this point.

I fell in love with photography 10 years ago, when I was 14 and starting high school, and I haven’t been able to stop documenting life since then. For years, I was told that photography was not a “real career.” That I should put the camera down and pursue something that made “real money” and solved “real problems.”

And so I did.

I set aside my camera and my passion and tried to make myself into something I was not. It’s crazy how so many creative women are told to be more “realistic” and get a “real” job. So I worked multiple male-dominated jobs and graduated in Cybersecurity and Technology through the University of Maryland.

Yet on the day of graduation, I had never felt more unlike myself. I didn’t recognize the girl in the cap and gown. I felt lost.

It wasn’t until I was laid off from my corporate IT job in October 2025 that I realized I absolutely did not want to return to the corporate world — and much less to IT. So I brushed the dust off my camera and decided to give it the chance I should have given it years ago.

And what I came to discover?

The magic is not in the editing, nor in the hundreds of photos I take during a session. It’s in how each woman feels when she steps in front of my lens.

That’s my calling, and it always has been.

It’s being able to make you feel beautiful, at ease, and completely seen for who you are. How often do we judge ourselves so harshly and try to fit ourselves into a box — to be more realistic, softer, more likable, more polite?

Here, I want to show you exactly as you are.

On your most special day or milestone, or on an ordinary Tuesday when you simply wanted to document how beautiful you feel.

Because it was never really about the photo itself. It’s about documenting you, your moment, and your season of life.
